Imanol Almudí

Imanol Almudí – Chief Executive Officer, Agroponiente Group

Senior executive and entrepreneur with more than 25 years’ international experience in the Food and Consumer Goods sector, leading top companies such as Unilever, Fundus, Gruma Group, Iberconsa and Agroponiente, as well as co-founding three of his own ventures.
Specialist in business transformation, corporate governance and growth strategies, he has worked with complex capital structures, including international investment funds such as EQT, Lion’s, Portobello, Proa Capital and Platinum, in both multinational and family settings.
Since 2022 he has been CEO of Agroponiente Group, one of the leading companies in the fruit and vegetable sector in southern Europe, where he is leading ambitious moves to expand and consolidate the sector in conjunction with ABAC Capital.
He has pursued his career between Spain and the rest of Europe, focusing on the food and retail markets and sustainability. His vision: to drive businesses with purpose, human value and sustainable leadership, starting in the primary sector.
