Matthew Corbett

Matthew Corbett is a Founder and Partner, Agriculture at Fiera Comox. His responsibilities include sourcing of investments, portfolio management and relationship with operating partners. Matthew has two decades of experience in the agriculture industry including acquiring and managing agriculture assets in Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, Chile, across Europe and in the following sectors: permanent crops, row crops, dairy farming, timber, cattle and aquaculture. He sits on the boards of directors of Auvil Fruit Company (Apples/Cherries), Eastern Australia Agriculture (Cotton/Grains/Grazing), Warmerdam Fruit (Cherries/Plums/Kiwis), and Rangitata Dairies (Milk), amongst others.

Prior to joining Fiera Comox in 2016, Matthew spent over five years with PSP Investments where he was a founding member of PSP’s global Natural Resources investment group. Matthew undertook nearly C$2 billion of direct investments in timber and agriculture within that organization.  Matthew’s family background is in dairy farming and he spent his early years working on farms across eastern Ontario.

Matthew holds an MBA from McGill University and a B.Sc. from Queen’s University.
